About Por La Vida
Our Mission
Por La Vida's mission is to support justice-impacted youth and adults reentering the community through advocacy, education, mentorship, and connections to resources. Through collaboration with other organizations, we promote stability, self-sufficiency, and successful reintegration into the community.
Our History
Founded in 2023, Por La Vida is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to community outreach, advocacy, education, and mentorship.
Our organization was established with the belief that everyone deserves access to resources, opportunities, and support, regardless of their circumstances. What began as a commitment to helping individuals and families overcome financial, social, and other challenges has grown into a mission focused on supporting justice-impacted youth and adults.
Through community partnerships, education, mentorship, and resource navigation, we work to help individuals overcome barriers, rebuild their lives, and achieve stability and self-sufficiency.
At Por La Vida, we believe that a person's past does not have to determine their future.

Reentry Support & Resource Navigation
Connecting individuals with community resources, including housing assistance, employment opportunities, behavioral health services, substance-use treatment, and other supportive programs.
Education & Career Pathways
Helping individuals explore educational opportunities, vocational training, college enrollment, career development, and employment readiness.
Mentorship & Personal Development
Providing encouragement, guidance, and mentorship to help individuals build confidence, develop life skills, and make positive decisions.
Youth Outreach & Prevention
Engaging justice-impacted and at-risk youth through education, mentorship, community involvement, and positive opportunities for personal growth.
Community Outreach & Collaboration
Working alongside community organizations, service providers, educational institutions, and local partners to connect individuals and families with resources and support.
